The Case of the Four and Twenty Blackbirds

“Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, all the king’s horses and all the king’s men
couldn’t put Humpty together again. Everyone said it was an accident but his sister Jill Dumpty was aware that the truth was something else. ”

Neil Gaiman take us to the world of Humpty Dumpty and investigates the case through the eyes of Mr. Horner. The idea is just amusing. You suddenly emerge into the fantasy world and don’t want it to be gone. If you are one of those short story lovers that just want to feel the joy of the sentences then this story might be the one for you. Dialogues in short stories often bore the readers but not in this one. I hope you’ll like it. Have fun!
